Carinthia has a continental climate with the highest sun index in Austria with temperatures rivalling the Mediterranean. In winter there is lots of snow and sunshine and Skiing is guaranteed in the nearby Nassfeld ski arena from mid December until April.
Spring, summer and Autumn are perfect for walking or cycling holidays. Within 1 hours drive you can visit Italy, Slovenia and many beautiful lakes, mountains and delightful historic towns. In around 2.5 hours you can be in Venice, Ljubliana, Salzburg, Graz, Triest and even Vienna is possible for a day trip..... In short the perfect holiday location all year round.
Weissbriach is in a beautiful part of Austria and offers relaxed swimming in warm lakes and picturesque mountain scenery in summer as well as an excellent range of walking, cycling and other outdoor pursuits such as rafting, climbing etc.
